We are a family of faith who connects with God, one another and our community in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains--Maryville Tennessee.
But it doesn't matter who you are or where you live. God wants to use you right where you are to bring the Living Hope into a world of fear and loneliness. We want to help you give hope to the people in the places where you work, live and play.
We encourage you to listen to a message and contact us. We'd love to have you visit with us, and help you make that next step, into a life of purpose, freedom and assurance.
What are worship services like at Smoky Mountain Presbyterian Church? In an era of social distancing, that's a great question!
Here are the things that won't change. We still believe that God loves us, the Church is still the hope of the world and that people have a deed need to connect with God, love each other and bless their neighbors.
Historically, our church has always had a history of gathering together and then scattering to live out the Gospel in the places where we work, live and play. Over the next few weeks, we plan to come together on FaceBook. We will still sing ancient and modern songs, confess our faith and receive instructions from the Bible, it's just that we're doing it online. We will also be a people of prayer and hospitality. We still need God.
As always, your leaders also want to walk alongside you, as God gives each of us opportunities to bless our neighbors. We want to remain in constant contact with you, so that we can pray for you and help equip you can be the hands and feet of Jesus in our city and show them the way of our living hope.
In the coming days and weeks we believe that God will be using our small church to bless our neighbors in ways that will transform our city, one person at a time!
